What’s This?

My second sims 3 legacy.

And it’s about Pokemon because I’m mentally 5.

Welcome to the Pokemon Rainbowcy, where I’m going to take sims and name them after pokemon based on color.  I thought about doing it based on their element or their abilities, but I’ve always wanted to do a rainbowcy anyway (Now that I think about it, a Pokemon theme might make for a good DITFT challenge…).

Also, while I wanted to do a rainbowcy, I didn’t want it to be the same arrangement of colors, blue, green, red, yellow (I hate the color yellow, screw that color) But there are only so many colors out there, so every color is going to be based on the name of a town in the Pokemon region of Kanto:

OMG, is that a grey in a rainbowcy?!  Who does the color GREY?  I DO, thank you very much.  It’s a good color that goes with everything.  The End.

ALSO, these color names usually refer to a specific shade of the color, but I really don’t care.  All the colors I will use will be close enough because I will be happy with them, and if anyone wants to start a long four page discussion on the difference between Sunset Sorbet and Golden Yellow #34, I will go to your house and eat all your eye shadow.  I honestly don’t think anyone will care though.

ALSO also, I think that this might be the most important detail of all, but I’m only going to focus on the first 151 pokemon.  The original, no mudkipz, lugias, none.  This is pretty much because the original is THE original.  And while I still have no real problem with the next two generations, everything pretty much after that was as if they had pointed at random nouns in the dictionary and based the new ones off of that.***

“A CANDLE!  Brilliant!  Slap a pair of eyes on it and call it a day guys.  We’re gonna be RICH!”

***POST FEB 2013
Generation 6 coming up actually looks pretty cool, and I do look forward to that generation.  It almost makes me wish I had money to get a 3DS.  Sigh

But still.  I absolutely dispise Litwick.  Screw Litwick.

***POST JAN 2017

FINE, the candle pokemon is ok.

I think I’ve touched base on everything this legacy is about.

Oh, one more thing.  At first I thought about doing everything opposite that I did with my Southern Prettacy and keeping this legacy more ‘child friendly’.  Because, after all, isn’t Pokemon 100% child friendly?

But then I thought, “I’m not child friendly.  And the sims are rated teen.  Oh and Charmander has already dropped the F bomb.  Well, that decides it then.”

There will be just as much cussing and boobs as there has been in my other legacy.  Maybe not boobs.  No boobs.  Not on my Pikachus.

LOL I talk to much.  Anyway, you may go back to the main legacy page now.

***POST PETS EXPANSION

LOL I named some pets after other generation’s Pokemon.  I’m going to go ahead and say pets don’t abide by the rainbowcy rule.  That and I wanted Smeargle.

YAY for not child friendly!! But the blue pokeballs make my eyes bleed when they are on a bright white background T_T..

If they don’t make you blind by the end of the legacy, then I’m not doing my job right!

(Hee hee, yeah, O agree though, they are a little bright. I’m going to try to whiten out the background for next generation for sure.)

Then you are definitely doing your job right! (does cheesy pokemon victory sign) XD

Between this and the Southern Prettacy, you have got to be one of the most dedicated legacy-writers I’ve ever seen, and I am so thankful for that because you’re funny as hell. 😛
I’m a huge fan of both this legacy and the Southern Prettacy (can Leroy make an appearance in this one? Pleeease? He kind of looks like a Charmeleon.) I put both legacies on my blogroll.
I just started my legacy, which also includes a ton of tips for the Sims 3; I’d truly appreciate it if you could swing by and give me some feedback. Thank you and I’ll definitely be keeping up with this 🙂

Thanks! I had been meaning to put a cameo of a couple or some Seckies in one or both of my current TS3 legacies, but I haven’t gotten around to it, especially after all the problems from the last few chapters and life obstacles.
I’d love to check out your legacy, and I’ll drop by it in a few minutes and check it out! Good luck with it!

how did I not find this sooner! I loves me some pokemon!
Oh and i also think the first 150 are the only ones that should exist.
I so want to do a pokemon rainbowcy…or whatever.
    Maybe after my cultracy?
(pft, Like I’ll get that done before sims 4)
Would it bother you terribly if I did one too?

Go ahead and do your own if you’d like! I’m kinda interested in seeing what versions of sim “pokemon” other people come up with anyway.

Don’t know if you’ll like this, but you have been nominated: https://bedlamisbi.wordpress.com/2016/05/12/spirit-animal-award/

Also, love your work (need to catch up on it desperately, but I love it.)
